GSFL 2006 Schedule Revised and Ready to Go
League down to 12 teams, tweak schedule and go back to
original format

Saturday,April 22nd, 2006-Bloomfield,NJ-The GSFL
announced and finalized its 2006 season schedule on
Saturday, April 22nd at their Annual Meeting for the
Officials clinic and 2006 schedule.

"I tell you, if this schedule changes again, I don't
know what I'm going to do, says team owner, Jermaine
Sanders with a chuckle. All these changes effect the
current teams and it makes it difficult to solidify
fields and times, for some teams anyway."

Sanders, who has worked out most of the dates at
Brookdale Park, Bloomfield, NJ wants this to be the
last time they have to change their dates and times
for their home games.

The current schedule for the Jersey Cynder, in its 5th
season is the following:

July 22nd vs. NY State Broncos, Away**
July 29th vs. SHORE BULLDOGS, HOME*
Aug. 5th vs. Rockland Bruins, Away*
Aug. 12th vs. Frankford YellowJackets, Away*
Aug. 19th vs. LONG ISLAND TRIBE, HOME*
Aug. 26th vs. READING RAPTORS, HOME*
Sept. 9th vs. BROOKLYN GENERALS, HOME**
Sept. 16th vs. New England Knights, Away**
Sept. 23rd vs. NEW JERSEY WOLVES, HOME*
Sept. 30th vs. Long Island Seahawks, Away**

"We have a good schedule with some old faces and some
new ones, including the Bulldogs and Generals, says
Sanders. I can't wait to strap it on to those who were
affiliated with the Cynder in the past."

"The battle lines are drawn and it looks like
rivalries in the making, says a league representative,
who wanted to remain anonymous.Those games might have
to be taken a close look at and maybe end up being the
games of the week."

The Garden State Football League also announced
confirmation of its 2006 Charity All-Star game, which
will be played at Giants Stadium, East Rutherford,NJ
on Saturday,May 27th @ 3pm.

Their annual match-up classic against the New York
Amateur Football League, will look to raise funds for
the Children of St.Judes Hospital. Tickets for this
event are $10.00 and will be sold on the day of the
event.

GSFL All-Star Committee representative, Jermaine
Sanders has confirmed the Meet-n-Greet Party on
Friday,May 26th @ 10pm and the post All-Star Party on
Saturday,May 27th @ 7pm. It will be held at REDD'S
