Cynder get snake bitten by Venom
Fall shy of making their first-ever
playoff in inaugural BEFF LEAGUE
November 2007- The New Jersey Cynder, who are in their 6th
year of existence and first season with the Football's
newest FALL-FOOTBALL LEAGUE, the Big East North Football
Federation, fell victim to the heavily favorite, New York
Venom in the regular season finale.
"Its just one of those games, where you wish you could have
a few more minutes to score the winning touchdown, says
owner, Jermaine Sanders. We had a drive going, but we
weren't discipline enough and let the clock beat us."
Sanders saw his team win 3 games this season, along with
some very close ones. "Its an indication that their's a
strong core of players and dedicated personnel, who believe
in winning. We are dedicated to not rebuilding, but
reloading for next season."
The league itself, in its first season, has seen several
teams make the playoffs and will crown their Inaugural
Season Champion next Saturday, December 1st.
The venue is familiar territory, Hillburn, NY, home of the
Rockland County Bruins.
