MINOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL NEWS ALLSTARS DEFEAT
SEFL ALLSTARS

A bright and sunny day at 80 degrees met the All-Stars from the SEFL and Minor League Football news this past Saturday in Homestead, FL for the sixth annual Sunshine All-Star Bowl.

The Minor League Football News Alls-Stars took an early lead and went into the half leading 35 - 12. Greg Holcomb, of the MFLN All-Stars received the MVP honors as he threw 2 touchdown passes and ran for another.

The MLFN All-Stars were to be coached by Hall of Fame Head Coach Phil Lytle but, due to illness, turned over the reigns to son Deon Lytle who is know to be a defensive specialist. It showed and the All-Stars still put up 35 points.

The New Jersey Cynder, members of the Big East Football Federation had featured longtime veteran and all-purpose player, Edward "Brock" Brockington.

Brockington had a sack and several key tackles to help the All-Stars of the MLFN seal the win.

"I wish my teammates could've been here to take part in this win", says Brockington. "Next year, we will dominate and represent in a bowl game."

Seven year veteran-owner of the New Jersey Cynder, Jermaine Sanders, had took part in the festivities as well and assisted with the coaching on both sides of the ball.

"This was a great experience and I'm really greatful for the opportunity to be apart of this", says the Cynder King. "The atmosphere down south is electrifying. The boys at home are looking forward to taking part in this next year."

Sanders, who made connections while baskin under the sun, met with several key executives from the SEFL and the MLFN network, to work on some projects in the near future.

"It was well worth taking this trip down south, along with rest and relaxtion, I forged a lasting impression to secure some good things for the Cynder and football in the North", exclaimed Sanders. "Only time will tell."

While the SEFL had several bright spots, including a 105 yard kick-off return for a touchdown, the game was never really in question and the Minor League Football News All=Stars recorded a 55 - 12 victory by the end of the game.
